The place
The octagonal pavilion designed by Carlo Vanvitelli is linked to the shore by a wooden bridge. The compact interior, lake reflections and western light make this an easy Phlegraean stop.
Architecture on the water
The building was part of the royal Fusaro estate and works best as a short architectural visit rather than a full-day destination.
Late afternoon gives the best light, but entry hours may end before sunset. Check the park and pavilion separately.
